The implementation of STRATIX is a highly organized and structured process
that has been refined based on the over 500 Invera product implementations
in metal companies completed in the last 20 years. The process of implementation
and the timetable is dictated entirely be the size of the metal company,
depth of the core team and extent of commitment of the metal company and
on average, can vary from four to twelve months.

| CORE TEAM TRAINING |
|
This is followed by the selection and training of a Core Team. The Core
Team is composed of individuals from the metal company with specific areas
of responsibility such as sales, inventory, production, purchasing, accounting,
etc. The Core Team will be in part responsible for the training of the
other staff in the metal company. Depending on the size of the organization,
the Core Team will contain key business managers and executives that assist
in directing the process and make key business, procedural and policy
decisions.
|
| |
| POLICIES & PROCEDURES |
|
As part of the training process, the Core Team will examine
the STRATIX operational fit to the metal company. There are two objectives
of this process. The first is to specify the policies and procedures with
STRATIX and the second is to specify any modifications that may be mandatory
for operation of the product in the metal company.

| TECHNOLOGY INSTALLATION |
|
The deployment of technology (hardware, software and
network) must be planned to allow for Core Team Training, user training,
simulation and finally the product rollout.
|
| |
| SIMULATION AND CONVERSION |
After a comprehensive business and technology simulation
has been successfully conducted, the conversion weekend consists of verifying
and balancing all information in the new databases. This is followed by
full computerized operations the following weekday with the new policies,
procedures and computer systems.
Invera implementation staff have had extensive experience in these steps
and have a comprehensive set of guidelines for each step to ensure a well-executed
implementation.
