| Merit USA,
a flat-rolled metal service center based in Pittsburgh, CA, is now live on enterprise
software STRATIX from the metal industry software specialist Invera. This
flat-rolled service center carries a large selection of galvanized, galvannealed,
cold rolled, and tin mill products. |

| Their processing capabilities include slitting,
cut-to-length, shearing, and blanking. In addition to their main facility
in Pittsburgh, CA the service center has three sales locations in the Pacific
Northwest, Central California, and Southern California. |

| Merit USA has implemented a full complement of STRATIX
features such as shop floor production weight recording and on-line shipping planning.
This also includes a comprehensive production system for the computerization of their flat rolled production.
Merit USA also customized several STRATIX documents and labels using the STRATIX data supplied in an XML format. |

| Merit USA is using the STRATIX ON-DEMAND
hosting service that allows Merit USA to connect to the Invera Technology
Center using the Internet to use STRATIX. All software applications and
data are hosted at the Invera Technology Center. This service provides an
added dimension in flexibility for Merit USA to focus on their core metal
operations and outsource their technology operational requirements. |
