FLATROLLED STEEL, INC USA
LIVE ON STRATIX FOR ERP SOLUTION -              JUNE 2008

Newton Square, PA, Jan 2008 - Flatrolled Steel Inc., a flat-rolled service center based in Houston, Texas is now live on the enterprise software STRATIX from the metal industry software specialist Invera. In addition to their facility and headquarters in Houston, Flatrolled Steel, Inc. USA has another service center location in Grand Prairie, Texas and Tulsa, Oklahoma.

This service center carries a large selection of hot rolled, floor plate, hot-rolled P&O, galvanized, galvannealed, and pre-painted products in their state-of-the-art facility in Houston. Flatrolled Steel's facility includes some of the industry's most sophisticated equipment including a new Red Bud multi-blanking line with a Herr-Voss leveler that has the ability to recoil a side cut off a multi-blanking order.

The implementation also includes the features to scan the Original Mill Certificate into STRATIX, allow for viewing the certificate for a tag in inventory when viewing stock, and the automatic printing of the Original Mill Certificate based on the customer profile at shipping.

To handle their customer items produced to a specification on a repetitive basis, Flatrolled Steel will use STRATIX/CPS, a STRATIX product that provides for storing a comprehensive set of information based on Customer's Part Number. At Order creation, the CPS parameters are pulled into the Order Item by selecting the appropriate Part Number thereby speeding up the Order Entry process and prevents user errors.
Invera has been providing metal industry-specific enterprise (ERP) and Internet systems for over 25 years. Their products are used by more than 12,000 users at over 500 sites in the United States, Europe, Mexico, Canada and the Far East.
