Flat-Rolled & Toll
STRATIX offers comprehensive functionality specific to the processing and distribution of flat-rolled (or 'strip') products. At the heart of this functionality is a suite of layout functions designed especially for slitting, cut-to-length, multi-strand blanking, oscillating, and shearing. Each of these layouts include unique functions for the process. These combine with a specialized flat-rolled shop floor production recording system that uses barcode scanning to streamline production recording and increase accuracy.

Customer Specifications
To accommodate those companies that have a high level of repeat orders, a Customer Specification function enables companies to set up global or customer part specific specifications that include ID/OD packaging, gauge, width, length and other tolerances. When associated to a customer part number, the specifications can include the full process route including internal and external production.
Production Planning
On-Line production planning functions enable planners to view orders that can be combined together in a powerful production planning browse. Once the orders have been identified, planners can proceed with the specific layout requirements with minimal entry.
Production Recording
Based on the production layout, STRATIX actually determines the planned production to eliminate the need for operators to manually create production. Instead, barcoded production labels are produced and affixed to the material so that the barcode can be scanned at the weight stations.
Tag Tracing
Flat-rolled operations typically require that the system maintain a genealogy so that material sold to a customer can be traced back to the material originally purchased from the mill. STRAIX offers comprehensive end to end product tracing.
Material Quality
STRATIX includes numerous features to control and document the material quality. Users can view on-line the Mill Test Certificates, or scan the inventory for material that meets certain chemical or mechanical property ranges.
Multiple Material Defect Codes by Tag/Bundle can be recorded. They can be used for reference, searching, and can also be used to automatically place tag on Quarantine, Production, or Shipping Hold to prevent unintentional processing or shipment until condition is released.
Building Panels
STRATIX also includes a suite of features for companies that produce building panels and composite panels.
TOLL Features
The optional STRATIX/TOLL project supplements the STRATIX product with additional functionality for high volume toll processors, that include special billing options to bill at time of production or at time of shipment, and includes automated scrap credit functions.
